Every year, just before summer vacation, you inevitably hear casual conversations like, “When are you going home this year?” or “By the way, where is ○○’s hometown?”—exchanges between colleagues or classmates.
This work was born from the feeling of envy toward those who “have a place to return to.” The story follows a young man who, through a project at the advertising company where he works, begins to reconsider the very definition of “hometown.”
This project, created for the purpose of submitting to a competition, was carried out with a minimal team from planning to completion. By holding thorough discussions within the production team from the planning stage, we were able to move the project forward smoothly and bring it to completion.
