“What Color Does the World Shine In?”
This work follows a girl with complete color blindness, who sees the world in black and white. It is a challenging piece, with no dialogue and almost no cuts.
The worlds of stage direction and film direction are often compared. What can only be done on stage? What can only be done in film? Blindness was born from the desire to break those conventions and create a work that transcends the boundaries between stage and screen.
Adobe After Effects was used for editing, seamlessly connecting separately filmed footage to create the appearance of a single continuous shot.
