Filming/Editing of the Okuribi and Mukaebi ceremonies at Jissōji Aoyama Mausoleum

I was in charge of filming the Okuribi and Mukaebi ceremonies, held twice a year at Jissōji Aoyama Mausoleum.

Jissōji Aoyama Mausoleum is a columbarium located in Aoyama, Minato-ku, Tokyo. It was founded in 1634, during the reign of the third shogun, Tokugawa Iemitsu. The temple’s founder was Hikouemon Nakajima, a hatamoto (direct retainer of the shogun). Its head temple is Engaku-ji in Kamakura, Kanagawa Prefecture, which is counted among the Five Great Zen Temples of Kamakura.
