Seeing Color in Black

Award-winning film at the 16th JCF Student Film Festival

In today’s society, living in harmony with others is often considered the “right” way — an invisible chain that also appears during the emotionally sensitive years of student life.

This independent film, produced during my time in a vocational school, portrays the struggles and personal growth of a young man and woman who grapple with the pain of not sharing the same values as those around them.

I personally developed the concept and directed the film. Through numerous discussions with the producer and assistant director, I oversaw the entire production process—from pre-production to final delivery. During filming, in addition to directing on set, I also operated the camera for several shots.
